From 23 to 26 September 2025, we will be back among the protagonists of Marmomac, the international reference exhibition for the stone industry.
You will find us right in the centre of the exhibition centre, in Hall no. 6, at stand B5, inside the Verona Stone District collective area: a shared space designed to tell the value of our supply chain and the territory that shapes it.
This year there is an important novelty: a programme of free events, open to all, directly inside the stand. We present one, in particular, that we have organised.
Wednesday 24 September "Marble and Circularity - Research, Recovery, Responsibility".
At 3 p.m., we will coordinate a moment of in-depth discussion and debate open to all: a concrete opportunity to talk about sustainability in the stone sector, not as a trend, but as a concrete, measurable, shared choice.
The theme of circularity will be at the centre of the debate, with a focus on the recovery of processing waste, a theme that has seen us in the front line for years, both with member companies and with universities and institutions in the area.
The leading projects in silt recovery studies
We invite you to attend as it will be a concrete meeting to take stock of where we have got to with research, what solutions are already viable and how we can turn these results into tools applicable to the sector. There are three projects that will take the stage for this discussion:
- Experimental plant based on innovative chemical processes for the recovery of residues, presented by the University of Padua - Department of Industrial Engineering.
- Zero Stone Waste, a project promoted by UNIVR, ISIM and Confindustria Marmomacchine to create an applied research centre dedicated to transforming silts into new adhesives for building materials.
- FinalLap, a project shared by UNIVR, Verona Stone District and Inerti San Valentino, focused on the use of silts for the construction of road sub-bases.

Circularity in the stone industry is an environmental value, and a strategic lever to better communicate with the market, respond to customer demands, open up new business opportunities and strengthen the identity of natural stone as a contemporary, sustainable and competitive material.
Participating means being informed, but also being ready to tell this value with competence and credibility. And as a result we can create a culture and added value for the entire supply chain. It will be an opportunity to update, but also to confront each other, to network and to advance a shared culture of marble, based on quality, innovation and responsibility.
